In the early church women were regarded as assets toa healthy church but as time unfolded women were not looked upon as helping the church to grow in healthy. In the early church women were priests and even bishops [see that Bridget was appointed Abbess using the ordination rite for Bishops]; so why is this not healtht for a vibrant church. It needs vision to see the will of Christ. I pray the Pope and Bishops will see with the eyes of Christ.
