Founded in 2011, the Association of US Catholic Priests (AUSCP) describes its mission as “Serving as a home for the People of God, offering mutual support and a collegial voice
within our pilgrim Church and world, through contemplation, dialogue
and prophetic action.” The theme for this year’s AUSCP assembly, held
from June 24 through 27 in Lexington, Kentucky, is “Eucharist: Sacrament of Encounter.”
TAC will once again be on hand to cover the proceedings, including
keynotes from Fr. Tom Reese, SJ, Fr. Michael Driscoll (who recently
participated in our convocation for Richard McBrien), and Dr. Kim Harris.
Be sure to check our website throughout the week to follow along with each day's events. We’ve also assembled a page with past contributions from AUSCP members
and other AUSCP-related articles, as well as a collection of essays and
reflections from our archive that speak to the assembly’s theme. https://www.todaysamericancatholic.org/auscp-2024/
