German archbishop calls for open debate about women priests in the Catholic Church
It seems to me that the women priests in the Episcopalian church are doing a fine job. All you have to do is listen to one of Bishop Carley Hughes spiritual talks during this pandemic. While we here little or nothing from our Cardinal Tobin. Bishop Hughes has impressed me and made me feel comforted by her spiritual insights. If we don't get married priests again, I don't thing our rigid church will ever consider women. But I do thing they would make a splendid contribution to the life of the Roman Catholic Church.
