In Thanksgiving for  Pope Leo XIV

God of steadfast love, we thank you for guiding the selection of Pope Leo XIV to be the shepherd of your people.   Endow him with wisdom, grant him courage and strength, and imbue him with your love, that he may lead your Church with mercy and compassion to seek peace, justice, and dignity for all people and your entire creation.   May he be for your people, a faithful witness to your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom we make this prayer.   Amen.   © Give Us This Day, Liturgical Press, 2025.
