Communion is a communion with Jesus who is the Christ and his teachings.
ReplyDeleteIt is not a communion with the Catholic Church and all it's teachings. The body is sinful but the head is not. The body strives to commit to the teachings of the head, but often falls short. The Church is the body, but we do not follow the body, we are led by the head, the Christ and it is in Christ who is sinless that we strive to emulate.
