Boston College theologian cleared of allegations and reinstated as department chair

In a statement provided to NCR, Boston College said the accusations against Richard Gaillardetz "are not only not credible but are also false," according to the law firm of DeMoura Smith LLP, which was retained by the Jesuit-run institution to investigate the allegations
