    Francis is from there,Peter himself was married, and we had a history of a married clergy up to about a thousand years ago. And there IS a pastoral, even in this country: parishes are either being closed or combined due to lack of clergy. Married clergy bring in the benefits of having experience in the issues and challenges individuals and families face in the real world.
