Cardinal Kevin Farrell, prefect of the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life, said ministering by couples to couples is better done by “people who have walked in their shoes.” The cardinal admitted he did not “have a clue” how to answer some of the questions on couples’ difficulties, which his own nieces and nephews had put to him.
