First of its kind assembly to address future of Latin American Catholic Church

Thousands of Catholics throughout Latin America and the Caribbean have been participating in a "listening" process that leads up to a regionwide ecclesial assembly Nov. 21-28 in Mexico City. The pope calls the assembly "a meeting of the people of God."
